Healthy energy boost

Need an energy boost? Skip the coffee and choose a nutrient dense superfood instead - food is fuel afterall!


Here are my favorite superfoods for an energy boost:


Nuts and seeds - contain omega 3 fatty acids that keep you full and energized.

Blueberries - high in antioxidants that fight inflammation and fatigue.

Avocado - contain protein, fiber and healthy fats to keep your energy levels up.

Banana - rich in fiber, potassium and natural sugars, banana's are a great quick energy boost.

Oats - contain fiber, complex carbohydrates and vitamins that contribute to sustained energy for the day.


Of course we also need to mention water! Dehydration is a big energy drain so be sure to drink up and stay hydrated.
